Construction was recently completed on a new bulk salt storage fabric building.
The 3,400 ton salt shed has a 65′ x 112′ building foot print. The building was designed to meet the local 50 lbs. ground snow load requirements, installed on concrete pier foundations, and spans concrete bunker panels which are used for product containment.

Construction of a new 80′ x 100′ salt shed is complete in Grand Marais, Minnesota.
The fabric hoop bulk storage building was built on concrete pad and pier foundations. The salt storage building spans concrete bunker panels. The project included and asphalt floor. This is the first of six MN DOT buildings Natural Light buildings being built this summer throughout the state.
